FCB helps children become better players by building up four cornerstones:
TECHNICAL: English football's downfall. So we concentrate on ball mastery and technical development that encourages beautiful, skilful, attacking play. With practice, our professional coaches can help any child to achieve a their full technical potential.
PHYSICAL At younger age groups, we concentrate on co-ordination and fundamental movements. Two sessions a week help our kids stay fit and healthy and as they get older conditioning and strength on the ball become important.
PSYCHOLOGICAL: Kids need to understand the game and make their own decisions (and their own mistakes). We explain everything clearly, try to keep tactics simple, and encourage good habits. We use real games to practice positional play and get players to analyse their own and the team's performance.
SOCIAL: Above all else, the club actively builds each child's confidence and self-esteem with equal time on the pitch, weekly awards and positive feedback. Child-centred coaching develops their communication, teamwork and leadership skills and all this helps them on the pitch when the going gets tough.
