Every year, we enter children in the North West's biggest and best junior running event, the Mini & Junior Great Manchester Run. It takes place the day before the adult Manchester 10k race and the children run a course around the Manchester City Football Stadium at Sport City. Check out the course map.
• A 1.5k Mini Run for 3-8 year olds at 10am
• A 2.5k Junior Run for 9-14 year olds (girls at 11am, boys at 12 noon)
• For all abilities
• Fun for all the family including an on-site funfair!
Entry normally costs £12, but the club will pay if you agree to raise sponsorship.

The run is great fun for the kids. They get a
race T-shirt, a runners' number, a timing
'chip' so they can check their results
online, a silver foil race blanket
when they finish and a medal.
