FC Bluestar was founded in 2006 with a very different ethos to other local clubs. This ethos, which puts kids before results, has proven so popular that we have quickly grown to be the biggest club in the area. Parents whose kids have been unhappy or overlooked at other clubs have found a happy home for them at FCB.

Our Academy takes girls and boys from Reception (aged 4) and we run teams all the way to Year 11 (Under 16s). A friendly, family football club for all children, we play our home matches in Didsbury and the Heatons and our players are drawn from around Stockport and South Manchester.

The club is run by parent volunteers who help with the coaching, managing, administration and fundraising. We always need more parents to help, even if you can only do the odd hour here and there.

Whether you want to help run a team, help on a match day, organise a fundraising event or lend a hand with the paperwork, no experience is needed - you'll find people friendly and willing to show you the ropes. We all want the same thing - to give our kids fantastic childhood experiences and memories.

The club is affiliated to Manchester FA and our teams play in the Stockport Metro League.
