The club depends on volunteers, so please get involved with your child's team and help out with routine match day jobs. You could even become a coach and get full training.

But... The club really needs parents to volunteer to raise funds, organise events and help with administration. The more volunteers we have, the more we can do for the kids, and that's what the club's about. You can offer as much or as little time as you want - all will be gratefully received. In particular, we need help with the following events:

• Quiz Night fundraiser
• Junior Great Manchester Run event and sponjsorship in May
• Trips (so far to Wales, the Lakes and Germany)
• Summer Family Barbeque in June
• Summer 5-a-side Tournament in July
• Christmas parties for kids in mid-December
• We also need help distributing posters and leaflets to schools

Got any good fundraising ideas?
So far we're collecting old mobile phones and we're bag packing in local supermarkets.
